I live in Philadelphia now.

So. September.

I spent the first nine days in Iceland, drinking in the otherworldly landscapes during the day.

When we got back, I went back to work and Chad worked on packing up our West Chester apartment. The first apartment that we had that felt like a home. The apartment where we learned how to get better at being married to each other. The first home our kittens knew. The beautiful apartment with the wood floors and the balcony and the yard and the flower beds and our first West Chester friends just around the corner. The first place I stayed for more than a year since 2005.

I think I will love living in Philadelphia. We just haven’t had time to really breathe here yet.

So, here’s to breathing soon. New places, new projects, a new neighborhood.
