After a lengthy and rather uncertain process, Diana is joining the Peace Corps. She’ll be living in Burkina Faso for the next two years. I will miss her so much, but I couldn’t be more happy for her! This has been a lifelong dream.
Her going-away party was this past weekend.
She made little cardboard cutouts of herself on the African continent, so that when we all get together and she can’t be there, we can take a group photo and she will feel like she was there, too. Her biggest fear is that people will forget about her while she is away.
Hopefully we will be able to follow her to Africa via her blog, small things. great love., however there may be rules about what she is able to post on the internet about her experience.
We won’t forget you!
